MQE 2022 - CALL FOR QUESTIONS

Preparations for the 2022 MQE are under way! CBVs interested in submitting a question for the 2022 MQE should submit a 1-page synopsis of their question to CBV Institute’s Education Department, at education@cbvinstitute.com, by Monday, January 10, 2022.

On Friday January 21, 2022, CBVs will be invited to the 2022 MQE Authors Clinic (on Friday, January 28, 2022) based in part on their synopsis.

BVR LICENSE RENEWAL & PASSWORD UPDATE

CBV Institute has renewed our partnership with BVR for another year, bringing all Members and Students free access to business valuation content through a dedicated CBV Institute online portal. This BVR subscription provides access to cost of capital data, numerous BV texts, valuation multiples for private companies, research and BV news and articles. The BVR platform provides practitioners the ability to keep their finger on the pulse of the profession, both from a US and global perspective.

The Institute’s online portal password has been updated, effective December 10, 2021. The new password will be: #2022CBV50. Please be mindful that entering the wrong password multiple times will lock out all CBV Institute users.

REGIONAL DIRECTOR ELECTION 2022

In our ongoing commitment to professional excellence, the Institute’s Leadership has adopted a proactive approach to recruit candidates to serve on our Board of Directors (Board). Every seat on our Board plays an important role in supporting us to meet our critical strategic goals for our future. We want to alert you now that we will be holding an election in early 2022 for the following Regions:

the Province of British Columbia and the Territory of Yukon (“British Columbia”),
the Provinces of Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba, and the Territories of Nunavut and Northwest Territories (“Prairies”),
the City of Toronto, the Regional Municipality of Peel, the Regional Municipality of York and the Regional Municipality of Durham (“Toronto”), and
the Provinces of Newfoundland and Labrador, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island (“Atlantic”)

WINTER 2022 TERM – REGISTRATION OPEN SOON

Registration for the Winter 2022 term opens on Monday, December 20, 2021.

Deadline to register in the Winter term is January 12, 2022. Please register early, late registrations will not be accepted.
