AT-LARGE DIRECTOR - EXPRESSION OF INTERESTWe will hold our election of Directors to the Board of Directors during our Annual Meeting of Members on June 16, 2022, in Toronto. The Governance and Nomination Committee of the Board assumes responsibility for the nomination of suitable CBVs for election to the Board of Directors in addition to Members elected in respect of a Region. This year, there is one At-large Director seat up for nomination by the Governance and Nomination Committee. At-large Directors serve for a three-year term. In order to be considered by the Governance and Nomination Committee, please express your interest by following the application process detailed in the Board of Directors At-Large Position Profile by January 31, 2022. |

MQE 2022 - CALL FOR QUESTIONSPreparations for the 2022 MQE are under way! CBVs interested in submitting a question for the 2022 MQE should submit a 1-page synopsis of their question to CBV Institute’s Education Department, at education@cbvinstitute.com, by Monday, January 10, 2022. On Friday January 21, 2022, CBVs will be invited to the 2022 MQE Authors Clinic (on Friday, January 28, 2022) based in part on their synopsis. |

BVR LICENSE RENEWAL & PASSWORD UPDATECBV Institute has renewed our partnership with BVR for another year, bringing all Members and Students free access to business valuation content through a dedicated CBV Institute online portal. This BVR subscription provides access to cost of capital data, numerous BV texts, valuation multiples for private companies, research and BV news and articles. The BVR platform provides practitioners the ability to keep their finger on the pulse of the profession, both from a US and global perspective. The Institute’s online portal password has been updated for 2022. The new password is: #2022CBV50.
