From time to time, the Institute shares with Members and Registered Students a variety of items and notices relating to professional obligations.  This may include exposure drafts, publications or interpretations of practice standards or ethical obligations, disciplinary notices, or other emerging items or trends that are likely to impact practitioners who are in public practice and who produce and issue work products subject to professional standards. These topics often deal with standards findings, standards requirements that require clarification, or practice areas where practitioners are encouraged to exercise caution and care. The communications are meant to assist Members and Registered Students in complying with their existing obligations.

The Institute disseminates these news items on a timely basis to the membership via CBV Matters.  For ease of reference, we have curated some of the most relevant “professional practice” communications that have been included in past editions of the member newsletter (along with the date of the edition of CBV Matters that the item was first published), over the last several years.
