SEEKING YPV COMMITTEE MEMBERS

CBV Institute is seeking members for our Young Professionals in Valuation (YPV) Organizing Committee. The YPV program offers an inclusive series of networking events for the next generation of emerging CBV leaders. The organizing committee is responsible for planning and hosting networking and technical events of interest to young CBVs.

We are seeking members for the committee who are CBVs within 10 years of writing the MQE and under 40 years of age.

REGIONAL ROUNDTABLES & INSTITUTE UPDATE

MEMBER SURVEY ON PRICING ANALYSIS

What is a pricing analysis? In what context do CBVs issue them? What do they look like? CBV Institute would like to better understand current practices related to pricing analysis. To assist us with this effort, we ask that you complete this short 5-min survey. All responses will remain anonymous will be used solely for the purposes of better understanding current practices, and areas where additional guidance may be beneficial. The survey is open until May 31, 2022.

CBV CONGRESS M&A SURVEY

At the upcoming CBV Congress in Vancouver (June 6th & 7th), Sequeira Partners would like to share some live feedback on the state of the M&A markets in Canada gathered directly from you – the M&A advisory community in Canada. To do so, they have prepared a 5-minute survey and are requesting the participation of CBVs and Students. Your participation is greatly appreciated, and your feedback will add much value to Congress attendees. You do not need to be attending Congress to respond to this survey. MQE 2022 - REGISTRATION OPEN

Registration for the 2022 Membership Qualification Exam (MQE) is open. The date of the 2022 MQE is Wednesday September 21, 2022.

Starting in 2022, materials for the MQE will no longer be hosted on York’s Moodle platform. All documents such as policies, mandatory course notes, past MQE booklets and solutions, and Examity information will be provided on the candidate’s account on cbvinstitute.com once they have registered.
