Notice Board

IMPORTANT NOTICE: AVMS AND PRACTICE STANDARDS

It has come to our attention that providers of automated valuation models, platforms and software (herein referred to as AVMs) are soliciting Members and Registered Students. Some claim that their AVM is associated, reviewed, approved or endorsed by CBV Institute or our staff. This is not the case.

CBV Institute has not and will not endorse or comment on the output or quality of specific AVMs, or any other tools, software or data sources.
While CBV Institute does not explicitly prohibit the automation of certain processes and leveraging developments in technology, we do not believe that the professional practice of business valuation can be fully automated.
