CBV INSTITUTE EVP & COO TO RETIRE

After 15 years of service to CBV Institute in various senior capacities, Bob Boulton, FCBV is retiring from his role as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer effective July 31, 2022. Bob led innumerable initiatives, working with hundreds of members on the Board of Directors, committees and councils, and helped CBV Institute become the professionally run organization it is today. He has been a tireless advocate for the profession and for professional excellence. For more than a decade he taught business valuation to MBA students to pass on essential business skills and showcase the opportunities a career as a CBV can hold. Bob will continue as Vice Chair of the IVSC Business Valuation Standards Board to raise the stature of the business valuation profession globally.

On behalf of CBV Institute’s Board of Directors and Membership, all of us at the Institute thank Bob for his service and wish him well.

CBV AWARDS & HONOURS CEREMONY - JUNE 14

CBV Institute will be holding our 2022 Awards & Honours Ceremony on Tuesday, June 14th at 12PM ET. The event will be livestreamed publicly on our YouTube Channel. A direct link to the livestream will be circulated in the June 8th edition of CBV News.

MQE 2022 - REGISTRATION OPEN

Registration for the 2022 Membership Qualification Exam (MQE) is open. The date of the 2022 MQE is Wednesday September 21, 2022.

Starting in 2022, materials for the MQE will no longer be hosted on York’s Moodle platform. All documents such as policies, mandatory course notes, past MQE booklets and solutions, and Examity information will be provided on the candidate’s account on cbvinstitute.com once they have registered.
