Granting of the Fellow designation is the highest honour awarded by CBV Institute. The FCBV recognizes Members who have demonstrated the following achievements:

  • Provided distinguished service to the business valuation profession; and
  • Significantly elevated recognition of the business valuation profession.

PRACTICE CORNER: 9 BEST PRACTICES FOR QUALITY CONTROL

Have you reviewed CBV Institute’s 2023 Practice Inspection Summary Report in detail? If not, you may be missing out on best practices tips based on real issues encountered in practice inspections – like this one, for quality control processes! Practice inspection findings stress the importance of having an “independent review” process to ensure quality of valuations and sufficient support for key inputs. This is an area that the Institute will continue to examine in future practice inspections.
