CBV Institute is governed by a Board of Directors, working with an experienced Institute management team, to oversee the professional conduct of CBVs and Registered Students in the public interest.
The Board of Directors
The Board consists of up to 15 Directors and includes individuals from both inside and outside the profession. Six Directors are elected regionally, and the remaining positions are elected at large by the full membership. Directors generally serve a three-year term, to a maximum of two consecutive terms.
Governing the profession
CBV Institute governs the professional conduct of CBVs and Registered Students. All CBVs are registered Members of CBV Institute, and Registered Students qualify for membership by completing the requirements, including the CBV Program of Studies.
