All CBVs in good standing may use the designation after their name. Use your preferred format, either CBV or Chartered Business Valuator:

If your membership is suspended or revoked, or if you resign, you are not permitted to use the CBV designation.
How to order your credentials after your name
List your highest degree immediately after your name. If you have several, you may list only the highest, since it usually eclipses the others. For example, if you hold both a master’s and a doctoral degree, you may choose to show only the Ph.D.
Include your academic degrees.
List your professional licences.

Using CBV vs. EEE
CBV Institute is committed to a consistent, unified representation of the designation across Canada. We recognize that some French-speaking members prefer EEE (Expert en Évaluation d’Entreprises), and members are welcome to use EEE in their personal branding, including email signatures, business cards, and social media profiles.
In its own institutional communications, however, CBV Institute refers exclusively to the CBV designation, to maintain a single, uniform professional brand in the marketplace. We appreciate your understanding as we continue to strengthen recognition of the CBV designation nationally and internationally.
