Lara is the Controller at McGill University where she is committed to providing progressive and prudent management of the university’s financial resources. Lara is also dedicated to leveraging her accounting, finance, valuations, and transactions experience in working with organizations that are realizing big visions. In her previous role as a Vice President in the Valuations group at PwC in Montreal, Lara advised business, both public and private, on business and intangible asset valuations, primarily for transactions and financial reporting purposes. Lara also provided loss quantification services for litigation purposes, primarily in the context of shareholder disputes. Lara has broad cross-sector experience, with a concentrated depth in the real estate, higher education, media, and technology industries. Lara is also a frequent public speaker and an instructor of business valuation courses.
