PRACTICE CORNER: REPORT DISCLOSURE ISSUES

CBV Institute’s 2023 Practice Inspection Summary Report includes a discussion of several disclosure issues noted in valuation reports inspected last year. The examples are shared to stress the importance of consistent, professional, and transparent documentation and reporting. The intent of CBV Institute’s disclosure requirements is to foster trust in valuation, and  maintain the public’s high regard for Members and their services.
