SURVEY ON ESG AND BUSINESS RISK

Secretariat aims to better understand the current ESG landscape and its impact on business risk and operations through this annual survey targeting senior professionals in corporate operations, strategy, as well as investment and consulting professionals with a view into corporate decision-making. The focus of this survey is on whether ESG issues currently impact day-to-day operations, how, if at all, ESG factors are incorporated into business value and what issues may arise in doing so.

Results will be incorporated into Secretariat’s annual article, to be published early next year, which will be shared in CBV Matters. The results will highlight the interconnectedness of ESG considerations and business risk, aiding CBVs in refining their valuation methodologies to mirror contemporary business environments. CBVs will be able to access a rich vein of data reflecting senior professionals’ perspectives on ESG impacts, thereby enhancing the robustness and relevance of their valuation practices.

The survey, available in English, takes 5-10 minutes to complete, and is vital as an ongoing assessment of the ESG landscape. The deadline to complete it is November 30, 2023.
