We are pleased to announce the recipients of CBV Institute’s 2025 Awards & Honours. Please join us in congratulating the following individuals and celebrating excellence in the business valuation profession!
The CBV Fellow designation, known as FCBV, was created to recognize CBVs who have brought distinction to the business valuation profession and achieved recognition, both professionally and in their communities. It is the highest designation the Institute confers.
In 2025, CBV Institute welcomed two more Fellows. We are pleased to announce that Larry Andrade and Doug McPhee have been admitted by CBV Institute’s Board of Directors to receive FCBV honours. Congratulations, Larry & Doug!
Larry Andrade
MBA, CPA, CA, CFF, CFE, FCBV
Global Partner-Dispute Advisory, National Leader
Deloitte LLP
It is a great honour to receive the FCBV honorary designation from the CBV Institute and my esteemed peers. The FCBV designation is a great reminder to me of the importance and responsibility we share to uphold the integrity and values of our CBV profession, and continuously pursue the goal of personal development and improvement. Thank you to everyone, especially my mentors and Deloitte team, for their significant and on-going contributions to my career – I am grateful.
Doug McPhee
CA, FCBV
Senior Director – Head of Valuations Public Investment Fund (PIF)
I am both delighted and honoured to be recognised with the FCBV designation. I didn’t envisage spending my career dedicated to valuation when passing the MQE nearly 30 years ago, but my CBV helped open up an incredibly rewarding international career spent in Canada, the UK and ME, firstly with KPMG and more latterly with one of the world’s largest Sovereign Wealth Funds. And to our current and future students I would say the CBV remains as relevant today as it was all those years back.
As in previous years, we will be hosting our annual Awards & Honours ceremony virtually in June. Details to follow shortly. We hope you can join us!
