Commercial real estate appraisal is an important part of Canada’s business landscape. Buyers and sellers of real estate are often driven to find the right value for these important assets. Understanding the methodologies and approaches for valuing these types of assets is critical. Although these methodologies and approaches may be well known to CBVs, the valuation nuances that present themselves for different industries and asset classes must be clearly understood.
