Pennock Acheson Nielsen Devaney LLP is looking for an experienced and team-oriented Valuation Specialist. The Valuation Specialist will be responsible for providing business valuation and transaction advisory services to a variety of clients.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Preparation of business valuations, due diligence assignments and financial analysis in respect to transactions, reorganizations, disputes and tax filings.
- Consult with clients, client’s counsel, and representatives of companies to obtain necessary information
- Analyzing and interpreting clients’ financial and non-financial information
- Objectively identify risks and opportunities that drive value for the client
- Conduct related industry research
- Obtain a basic understanding of our clients’ businesses and learn their best practices
- Advising on solution focused recommendations to clients
- Represent PAND at networking and industry events to leverage new business development
Education & Experience
- CPA designation
- CBV designation or enrolled and working towards CBV designation
- Minimum 5 years of progressive professional accounting experience at a public practice firm
- Experience in preparing business valuation reports, due diligence, purchase price allocations and financial models
- Strong understanding of accounting standards, tax regulations and legal documents in a financial environment
- Experience leading and mentoring staff
