About the role

This role will work closely with the Valuation Partner, overseeing and assisting in the day-to-day management of valuation engagements and the valuation team. Preparing independent valuations for businesses, intangible assets, and financial instruments, for mergers and acquisitions, litigation support, dispute resolution, financial reporting and restructuring purposes.

We are seeking an authentic manager with prior business valuation experience. We have an open and honest, trusting environment that supports staff development.

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance or Economics.
  • CA, CPA, or CFA qualified.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in valuation or corporate finance in an accounting and/or professional services firm.
  • Good understanding of business valuation concepts. Knowledge of financial instruments valuation an advantage.
  • Experienced in impairment reviews and purchase price allocations for financial reporting purposes.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
