Opportunity:

The FYidoctors Corporate Development team is seeking an Analyst for our Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) team located at our Home Office in Calgary, AB. You will be working with the M&A team to assist in the coordination of all aspects of the M&A life cycle. This would include, merger & acquisition due diligence and financial evaluation, deal presentations and negotiations as well as providing needed support for strategic M&A planning and review. As the primary point of contact during due diligence, you will be collaborating directly with potential acquisitions.

You offer independence, high energy, critical thinking, attention to detail, and tact when professionally communicating with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience working in the area of accounting/finance or other relevant M&A experience
  • Completion of a financial designation (CPA or CFA)
  • Enrolled in the CBV program with the intent of obtaining the CBV designation. Minimum completion of Level 1 would be an asset
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
  • Excellent valuation and financial modeling skills
  • Strong ability to analyze data and communicate analysis
  • Highly motivated with a great attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written; comfortable in communicating with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to manage and respond confidently to challenging situations and sensitive conversations
  • Ability to adapt and respond quickly to changing priorities via critical thought and problem solving
  • Act with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promote the culture, values, and our mission
