The International Valuation Standards Council (IVSC) has announced Thomas Lee, CBV, as the new Chair of IVSC’s Financial Instruments Board. Mr. Lee takes the helm of this influential international valuations board from Gavin Francis, CFO of Global Banking and Markets at HBSC. Mr. Francis steps down after a three-year term in the role and will remain on the board.

Mr. Lee is currently a Partner at KPMG Canada and leads its Valuation Services’ Financial Instruments Team. He has been Vice Chair of the IVSC’s Financial Instruments Board since its inception in 2019. The Financial Instruments Board plays a pivotal role at IVSC leading the development of International Valuation Standards for financial instruments.
