The World Health Organization declared the coronavirus (COVID-19) a global health emergency on January 31, 2020. With the attention now on containing further spread of COVID-19, CBV Institute is implementing precautionary procedures effective immediately for our members, students, volunteers, employees, suppliers and visitors. We respectfully ask for your co-operation.
- If you have recently visited China, Iran, Italy, South Korea or Japan, please refrain from attending CBV Institute offices, or in-person events hosted by CBV Institute, for a period of 14 days from your return to Canada. This advisory applies to any other affected areas which may be designated in future by the Government of Canada. Please follow quarantine measures imposed by authorities.
- If you feel ill or suspect you may be infected, also refrain from attending CBV Institute offices and in-person events hosted by CBV Institute. Telecommunications options are available.
- Until further notice, CBV Institute staff will exercise discretion in scheduling and attending in-person meetings. Non-essential attendance will be limited and handshaking is discouraged.

monitoring and following guidelines of the Government of Canada and the World Health Organization.
