CBV Young Professionals in Valuation is putting the spotlight on 4 CBVs who have achieved professional success and happiness in their respective fields. Join us for an engaging series of interviews every Friday at 12 pm EST starting on November 27th for 3 weeks. Each week, different CBV professionals will share their unique story and professional journey in an intimate fireside chat. What did it take to get to where they are today? What skills were needed to get there? Who guided and helped them along the way? What strategies ultimately helped them succeed?
This series of webinars is targeted towards Students and young CBVs. The series features 4 distinguished young professionals, each showcasing different practice areas and different areas of CBV expertise. Each webinar will be one hour in length, and include time for audience Q&A.
Julien obtained his CBV in 2014 while he was working in the valuations group at Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton in Montreal. He left public practice in 2015 to pursue an industry career within the Montreal start-up ecosystem. He first joined RISE Kombucha, a fast-growing beverage company which he led through several rounds of financing. Julien then had a short stint in the entertainment industry working for an event management company operating several music festivals around the world during which he completed two acquisitions. He currently works as VP Finance at Purkinje, a software company that provides IT solutions in the healthcare industry where he completed several acquisitions and divestitures over the last two years. Julien also lectures at McGill University and is an instructor for the CICBV level 2 course. He mentors several entrepreneurs and is an active investor in start-ups.
