The medicinal marijuana / cannabis industry is still in its infant stages, but some analysts believe that it is poised to become a multibillion-dollar opportunity.  Mr. Dan Sutton will introduce his company, Tantalus Labs, and share his experiences / challenges in positioning Tantalus as a differentiated provider of medicinal cannabis.  He will discuss the current market dynamics of the medicinal cannabis industry in Canada and briefly review other markets, including the United States, Israel, Uruguay, and Holland.  Having had firsthand experience in raising capital for Tantalus Labs, Mr. Sutton will discuss some of the key financial metrics that investors should look for and some of the red flags to avoid.  He will provide his perspective / ideas as to the future of the medicinal cannabis industry in Canada over the next 5 to 10 years.
