Our Kingston office is currently looking for a Supervisor/Manager to join our team and manage our Eastern Ontario operations.
Matson, Driscoll & Damico Ltd. is a leading international forensic and investigative accounting firm with offices throughout Canada, the United States, the UK, Singapore, Hong Kong and Australia. We specialize in economic damage quantification and other related forensic accounting services. We have assisted in the investigations of events such as the aftermath of hurricanes Katrina and Rita, the 9/11 terrorist attack and most recently we have team members working on claims resulting from the earthquakes in Chile and New Zealand, the flooding in Australia and the tsunami in Japan.

Job Description:
We are looking for a qualified accountant with an interest in pursuing a career in forensic accounting. The work involves the quantification of business insurance claims and litigation matters ranging from matrimonial to intellectual property disputes.
You will have the ability to supervise staff level and senior accountants. We expect you will progress quickly to manage small and medium size loss files from start to finish with minimal input from superiors. You should be comfortable attending meetings and communicating the results of your analysis. You will be involved in developing and maintaining clients and play an active role in marketing our services.
Requirements:
- Accounting designation with up to 5 years of post designation experience
- Working on or possession of the CBV and/or the IFA is an asset
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to problem solve
- Ability to understand a business and how loss events have impacted it
- Strong communication skills
- Willingness to accept tight and changing deadlines
- Willingness to work independently or as part of a team
