Appleby College inspires 800 students in grades 7 to 12 to pursue their individual passions through an internationally recognized academic, co-curricular, experiential, and boarding life program. A key member of the leadership team, Appleby’s Chief Financial Officer reports to the Principal, interacts with a dedicated volunteer Board, and leads a team of four direct reports and some 70 indirect reports. The CFO will have a CPA designation, sound business acumen, and a record of successful financial leadership in a complex and innovative multi-stakeholder organization. With exceptional technical skills, including systems and technology acumen, the CFO will be the College’s strategic and operational leader in finance, facilities, capital planning and construction, food and custodial services, financial assistance, administration, and risk management. There is potential to grow in the role as a key leader to identify, develop, and assess new business opportunities that will expand and diversify the College’s revenue streams and presence in various markets.
