White & Lewis is a well-recognized boutique business valuation and litigation support firm servicing southern Ontario, and in particular the GTA. We provide valuation and loss quantification services in respect of family law litigation, commercial litigation, shareholder disputes/buyouts, estate planning and litigation, and tax planning/reorganization. We also provide forensic accounting services as well as transaction advisory support. The majority of our work pertains to family law litigation matters.

Role Description

This is a full-time entry level, remote role for an Associate located in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada. The Associate will be responsible for providing valuation analysis, assisting with preparing valuation reports, supporting litigation matters, engaging in client consultations, and participating in trial preparation. The role also involves upholding the firm’s standards of client service and contributing to a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

  • CA, CPA designation.
  • CBV designation (or in process).
  • Experience with business valuation and litigation support is preferred, but not required.
  • Prior experience with corporate and personal income taxation in Canada.
  • Prior experience working on Family Law files, is preferred, but not required.
  • Strong financial analysis and valuation skills.
  • Experience with the preparation of business valuation and other report types (i.e., expert, limited critiques, etc.) in accordance with CBV Standards, is preferred, but not required.
  • Litigation support and trial preparation experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Excellent client consultation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a demanding work environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
