Lorne is a Chartered Business Valuator (Fellow) and a Chartered Professional Accountant/Chartered Accountant, and is principal in the valuations firm Siebert Valuation Services Ltd. Lorne specializes in valuing businesses and quantifying losses for financial claims, with a particular focus on shareholder transactions and corporate/commercial litigation. He has practiced full time advising lawyers, shareholders, corporations and institutions on resolving financial disputes since 1986.
Lorne has testified in Alberta Court of Queen’s Bench, Saskatchewan Court of Queen’s Bench, Tax Court of Canada, Supreme Court of the Yukon Territory, Ontario Superior Court of Justice and in private arbitrations, qualifying as an expert in business valuation and the quantification of economic/business losses.
Lorne was Chair of the Board of Directors for The Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Valuators in 2007/08. In total he spent eight years on the Board of Directors and chaired numerous committees including Executive, Strategic Planning and Professional Practice and Standards.

Tara Singh is a Senior Manager at Cohen Hamilton Steger & Co. Inc. where she specializes in business valuation, the quantification of economic damages, and forensic accounting investigations. She has been involved in the quantification of economic damages for complex commercial litigation including breach of contract matters, intellectual property and securities fraud litigation, class actions, and other financial disputes. Tara has co-authored several expert reports, as well as prepared materials and assisted with the submission of numerous expert and valuation reports to Canadian, US and international courts and has appeared as an expert witness at mediation proceedings and at various legal advocacy mock trial preparatory programs. Adam is a Managing Director at PwC in New York with nearly 20 years of valuation experience. His experience includes preparing valuations for a wide range of purposes including financial reporting, litigation support, corporate planning and consulting, mergers and acquisitions, estate and gift tax reporting, and employee stock ownership plans.
From 2013 to 2015, Adam served as a practice fellow at the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) specializing in fair value issues. In that role, he worked on projects with the FASB, the Financial Accounting Foundation (FAF), the Emerging Issues Task Force (EITF), the Private Company Council (PCC), and the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) and performed extensive outreach with regulators, other standards setters, and accounting and valuation professional organizations.
From 2015 to 2017, Adam was the Technical Director of Business Valuation Standards for the International Valuation Standards Council (IVSC) and worked with the IVSC Standards Board to develop an updated and improved version of the International Valuation Standards. In his position, Adam worked with other technical staff to write two new chapters and revise the existing chapters of the International Valuation Standards. Publication of the revised standards was completed in January 2017.

The Honourable Judith Snider is a retired judge of the Federal Court with 35 years of legal experience, 17 years of which involved decision making in highly technical and scientific areas of law. From 1983 to 1992, Ms. Snider practised law in a Calgary law firm, with the practice specialty of administrative law in the oil and gas sector. In 1992, she joined the National Energy Board as General Counsel. In 1995, Ms. Snider was appointed as a Member and, in 1999, as Vice Chairman of the National Energy Board. As a Member of the Board, she participated in the regulation of international and interprovincial aspects of the oil, gas and electric utility industries. From 2002 to 2013, Ms. Snider served as a judge of the Federal Court, Canada’s national court, where she presided over complex trials and judicial reviews of decisions of federal boards, agencies and tribunals, with particular focus on intellectual property and immigration matters. Ms. Snider also served as a judge of the Court Martial Appeal Court of Canada from 2003 to 2013.
Currently, Ms. Snider is a neutral panellist with JAMS ADR Services, the largest private ADR provider in the world. She is an active member of the Law Society of Alberta. Ms. Snider holds a BSc, with a major in mathematics, from Carleton University (1973) and an LLB from the University of Calgary (1981).

Tylar St. John is a Senior Manager of Cohen Hamilton Steger & Co. Inc. where she specializes in business valuations and the quantification of economic damages. Tylar has been involved in the preparation and submission of numerous expert and valuation reports to Canadian and international courts. In addition to her practical experience, Tylar is a lecturer for the Masters of Forensic Accounting Program at the University of Toronto and has been a frequent speaker at seminars and law firms on the subjects of business valuation and damages quantification.

Catherine Tremblay is a Partner at MNP in its Montréal office and is the firm’s Leader of Business Valuation and Litigation Support for the Québec-Ontario region.
She provides business valuation and litigation support services to public and private companies operating in various industries, as well as to governmental authorities. Catherine has performed numerous business valuations in the context of mergers and acquisitions, litigation support and corporate reorganizations and has extensive experience in fair value measurement for financial reporting purposes.
Catherine has authored several articles and given presentations at various conferences on businessvaluation and financial topics and has been recognized by the courts as an expert in business valuation. She was appointed to the Board of Directors of The Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Valuators in 2014. Catherine obtained her CPA, CA Chartered Professional Accountant designation in 1996, having obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a Graduate Diploma in Public Accountancy from McGill University, graduating with Great Distinction and on the Dean’s Honour List. Catherine became a Chartered Business Valuator (CBV) in 2002, an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) in 2006 and Certified in Financial Forensics by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants in 2014.
